All 2024 Slingshot models are powered by Polaris’ 2.0L ProStar 4-cylinder engine. Performance varies by trim:

Transmission options include a 5-speed manual or the AutoDrive automated manual, catering to both traditionalists and those preferring automatic shifting. The Slingshot R achieves 0–60 mph in approximately 4.9 seconds.

The Slingshot features a steel spaceframe chassis, double-wishbone front suspension, and a swingarm-mounted single rear wheel. It rides on 18-inch front wheels and a 20-inch rear wheel, equipped with Kenda SS-799 tires designed specifically for this vehicle.
